Week One: We’re Officially a Business

Well, week one is done!

We had six orders, which might not sound like a huge number, but considering they were all from people we know, we're pretty happy with that. You've got to start somewhere!

We've also spent a fair chunk of the week tweaking the website. More photos have made their way onto the product pages, along with a bunch of other little changes that will hopefully make things easier for anyone browsing our jeans.

The really nice part has been getting feedback from the people who've received their jeans. Hearing that they're loving them has been pretty bloody great.

And, finally, I got back to the sewing machine.

I'd been spending so much time getting the website up and running that the actual making jeans part had taken a bit of a back seat. So it was very nice to swap the computer for the sewing machine again and actually make some stuff.

So, all in all, a pretty good first week.

Six orders, some lovely feedback, a slightly better website, and I'm back sewing.

We'll take that.
